Last week I offered a variety of books to inspire and arouse you. Here are some more, all for your information and pleasure ~

  • Heroines by Kate Zambreno. Girl-as-philosopher Kate Zambreno takes on feminism, heroines and who is and is not allowed to write “literature” in this wonderful expansion of her blog essays on the same subject.
  • Delta of Venus by Anais Nin. Nin pens a lush, magical world where the characters of her imagination possess the most universal of desires and exceptional of talents. Among these provocative stories, a Hungarian adventurer seduces wealthy women then vanishes with their money; a veiled woman selects strangers from a chic restaurant for private trysts; and a Parisian hatmaker named Mathilde leaves her husband for the opium dens of Peru. Anything by Anais Nin will entrance you.
  • My friend Bill Noble writes erotic poetry and was the editor for Clean Sheets, an online periodical dedicated to erotica. Here is one of his stories about an aging couple:

  • Entwined with You by Sylvia Day.  Meet Eva and Gideon and explore their erotic and byzantine adventures. This is one of a worldwide phenomenon.

If you’ve been reading these blog posts for any time, you know that I believe that our mind is our most powerful sex and pleasure organ. There are so many ways to use your mind to enhance whatever experience you are having, and the amazing thing is that our body doesn’t distinguish between what we actually experience and what we think ~ that’s why it’s so powerful. No matter what state your body is in after your cancer treatments, you can experience pleasure. My wish is that reading brings you immeasurable pleasure.

Please share your reviews of any of the books and readings offered, and please share your reading discoveries so that we can all benefit and expand our reading list!
